Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival

I love the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival and as I said in my last post, I am sure dang happy that it will be at William S. Hart Park. Last year I had a grand time and thought I would share a few of my favorite things about the festival. Hang on to your hats, here we go. This is what I am looking forward to at the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival 2015

The art work that was for sale was incredible, I hope these talented artists are back this year!

We don’t call 911, how funny is this…you could purchase pieces of old license plate frames and make your self a sign… I purchased, still haven’t put them on the board…what was I thinkin’?

How about grabin’ a good book at the Buckaroo Book Store, we sure did. We met the author, Cowgirl Peg, what a doll and we love her books, great messages for kids in all her stories. Cowgirl Peg was one of my first reviews I ever did on Tales for the Trail, she sure was kind to let me write a review.

After all that shoppin’, watchin’ and lookin’ I say head back for some more cowboy coffee and melt in your mouth peach cobbler. Why not? Life is short, have fun and eat dessert twice.

Until Next Time Happy Healthy Trails…

  3. Wow, this sounds like a real rootin’ tootin’ cowboy experience! Love the peach cobbler, it looks incredible. Add music, dancing, art and socializing to the mix and I can see why you are so excited about this years’ festival too. Look forward to hearing what was your favourite experience from visiting the festival this year, Lisa!

  4. Wow Lisa, that is really great! It seems like you had a great time and what a service you provided folks about this event. I wonder where this festival was at, never been to Santa Clarita… nor heard of it, but looks like a great time. I’m with you, LOVED the license plate crafting, and I would probably have the intentions to do it myself and NEVER get around to it. Can you imagine having to find all of the letters for a saying you wanted? LOL

Hi Kristen and thanks for stopping by My Western Heart, we went to this years festival today and had a great time. Santa Clarita is located about 40 minutes north of Los Angeles, a nice place. The license plate lady was there today, and I had to confess to her that I had not finished last years master piece, she totally understood. Thanks for stopping by and happy trails!

  5. This looks like so much fun, I love the post and the images, Lisa! And I’m getting hungry after seeing that peach cobbler yummy!

Delia, I had the peach cobbler today and it was so melt in your mouth yummy! We had a great time, the new venue was wonderful as it had many trees for shade and lots of room for vendors and performers. A great time for all, thanks for stopping by!
